Introduction

Established in 1995, Mr. Popiah started out as a single stall at a Coffee Shop in Bedok North that built a reputation for its great taste, value and innovative popiah creations.

Today, Mr. Popiah operates out of a 10,000 square ft facility in Senoko, and has grown to become a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality popiah skin and spring roll pastry products to restaurants, hotels, caterers distributors and retailers internationally. Our ready-to-eat products are also available to consumers through our franchise outlets, network of proprietary vending machines, petrol stations and at supermarkets.

Mr Popiah is proud to be ISO, HACCP and Halal Certified.

We started at a small coffeeshop in Bedok North.

Opening of Bedok Factory

In 1996, we rented our first factory for production. In the same year, we were Halal certified.

2006
2-storey Factory in Changi

In 2006, our operations expanded and we moved to a 2-story facility in Changi.

2008
Kaki Bukit Factory

2 years down the road, we bought our first factory at Kaki Bukit - A factory to call our own. We also became ISO and HACCP Certified

What Is Popiah / Spring Roll Pastry

Popiah is a Fujianese/ Chaoshan-style fresh spring roll/wafer, popular among the Chinese and in many Southeast Asian countries. In Mandarin, popiah is pronounced as “Bao Bing” (薄餅) which means “thin wafer”.

Other Pastry Sheets

Unlike Mr Popiah™'s popiah skin, the spring roll pastry sheets cannot be eaten raw and require some preparation work for consumption. As it is starchy in nature, it cannot be used for your traditional popiahs. Use them to add a layer of crisp for any food you wish to deep fry!
